Evaluating Websites

While looking at Google Gulp, i couldnt find who had written the information but the organization is Google. Also, the site is clear on what it says the product will do, this site isnt exactly relevant to me but i could find the information very easily & the site was easy to figure out. Last, all of the links worked & the page was very bright & stook out. When i looked at The Aluminum Foil website, it wasnt as interesting or as easy to navigate around as the first website. Also, it isnt current because it was last updated in 2008. Last, it isnt a relevant website to me, because im not interested in technology, or science things.
The best website to use for the  Mankato report is the second website because it was last updated in 2010. The other two websites were not as current & all of the information is not correct. Also, its very colorful & standing out like google gulp. Last, the information is very relevant to the project & the site was very easy to navigate around.
Our discussion over the past few days has given me alot of new information related to reseach & reliable websites. It has showed me that not all information is accurate & that it is very important to check the date it was last updated.

Citing Sources Critique

My favorite source citing website was EasyBib for many reasons. First, all of the tabs needed to cite a source are automatically there when you get to the website. Also, the page was very colorful & "standing out" so it was easy to focus on what I needed to do. The font was big & bold, easily read & no directions were needed because everything was right there. It was a fast easy way to cite the sources & I had no complications. SourceAid was not as bold & daring as EasyBib was. It was more dull & easily allows you to get off task. Although, the button to do a citation was right there when you opened the website. The Citation Machine was also dull, but it had a moving picture so immediately my attention was on the picture. It was a little bit harder to access then the other two, I had to experiment with it before I got to where i needed to be.
